General Membership Meeting
November 6, 2007

This meeting was held during the lunch break of a CEN Review sponsored by the Colorado State Council of the ENA. There were over 50 attendees. If you are interested in know specifically who was present, please contact Sharon Sperry.
Meeting was called to order by Eric Christensen at 1215pm
New members were welcomed, 2008 Board members were introduced (exception: Halle Friedman was unable to attend.)
Sharon Sperry distributed a Treasurers report, no discussion.
Eric mentioned a need to start thinking about Fund Raising activities in 2008.
Committee Reports:
ENPC: Chair Penny Cole – not present
TNCC: Chair Pamela Bourg- not present
Eric noted the TNCC roll out info is on the website, and a decision was made to distribute a 25.00 gift card to renewing TNCC Instructors. Don Walker to clarify this process.
ENCARE: Chair Vicky Cassabaum- not present
Membership: Chair position open (acting chair Eric Christensen)
There are currently 653 members; Eric is seeking members interested in serving on the Membership committee. Some of the expectations from the Committee members include; contacting members when their memberships are near expiration, develop the Liaison program, and consider retention initiatives. Interested persons contact Eric.
Education: Chair position open (acting Chair Don Walker)
Reminder about the Leadership conference in Hawaii in 2008, sponsored by ENA.
There are hopes to develop and provide a Summer wilderness medicine camping trip.
Don plans to work on a needs assessment for the membership to provide feedback to the Council.
Government Affairs: Chair Shawn Ullrich- not present

New Business:
The deadline for the scholarship to attend the Leadership Conference in Hawaii is December 14th, see the Strategic Plan on the website for information.
Every Committee Chair position is available, contact Don Walker if you are interested.
Open Forum:
Don reiterated he is looking for members interested in Chair positions on all the committees. He also noted that such activity is noted on the Delegate Point Sheet.
